The Challenge

Building a social platform means competing with apps people already use every day. Our client needed a mobile-first community product that felt fast, familiar, and safe—without months of separate iOS and Android builds.

Key requirements included real-time feeds, profiles, media sharing, push notifications, and moderation tools that could scale as the user base grew.

Social media is not a media. The key is to listen, engage, and build relationships.

Our Solution

TechMagna designed and delivered a cross-platform social media app focused on engagement and clarity. Users can create profiles, follow others, post updates with images, interact through likes and comments, and receive timely notifications.

We prioritized a clean information architecture, smooth scrolling feeds, offline-friendly caching for recent content, and admin controls for reporting and content moderation.

How It's Made

The app was built with React Native so one codebase could ship native experiences for both iOS and Android. Shared UI components kept the product consistent while native modules handled camera, notifications, and performance-sensitive features.

On the backend, authenticated APIs support feeds, media uploads, and user relationships. The result is a maintainable product that launches faster and can evolve feature-by-feature without rewriting platform-specific apps from scratch.
